Quitclaim by James Reynold of the ancient town of Ria, in the county Sussex, shipwrighte, to Richard Fowler of Readinge in the parish of Eberie, in the county Kent, husbandman, of his right in a messuage, etcetera, in Readinge, bounded by the King's highway to the west ... land of Edward Hales, knight, to the north and east, and the Common river called "le Ch... [at these places, large hole in doc.]. Given on 4 March, 6 James [I]. on the reverse: "Sealed and delivered in my presence" signature of a witness.
